It’s not just been the kids heading back to school this Autumn – our Sustainability Manager, Ed Robinson, has recently re-entered academia thanks to a Sustainability MSc at Cranfield University, located just up the road from our Bedford HQ.
The Sustainability MSc brings together academics from Cranfield’s School of Water, Energy and Environment and School of Management to create a holistic, multidisciplinary learning experience. The course is designed in consultation with industry to equip sustainability professionals and leaders in organisations of all sizes with this critical mix of technical and management skills.
Ed explains: “It’s really exciting to be backing up the on-the-job learning I’ve done over the past year with this new qualification at Cranfield. The first of its kind, my classmates travelled from as far as India and Switzerland to take part in our recent induction week, so it’s a privilege to be involved. We’ve worked hard to strengthen our relationship with Cranfield in recent months; their sustainability knowledge is second to none, and I’m excited to apply my learnings from the course to our family business as we move forward with our Triple Bottom Line philosophy.”
We are so proud of Ed and can't wait to see him progress and bring back some amazing ideas from his time at Cranfield.
